• Agree with someone who said Will Farrell is a masterful ad libber. This podcast isn''t going to reach you on a deep intellectual level but if you're into Ron Burgundy humor it will be the best hour escape-from-life of the week. Laughed out loud a bunch. Love his co host too. Keep it up!!
• "CONTRIVED"? "Cringe-worthy"? Yes it's all of that and that's the beauty. Ron Burgundy trying to do a podcast that is NPR style. Think about that premise and what RB is all about. That's going to be a trainwreck. And that's what this hilariously is - a Trainwreck that is very hard to look away from. This was exactly what I expected and if you're a fan of RB you'll love this.
• Comedy is for smart people. Comedy is a litmus test for basic intelligence, empathy and human emotion. If you don't understand what makes this podcast funny, then perhaps it's not the type of comedy for you, no problem. But when you go out of your way to criticize something you clearly don't have the sensibility to grasp, then you need to go get a PET scan and see a neurologist you psychopath! We don't need you walking around free in open society! And for s-sake, we're talking about Ron Burgundy here, why don't you get it? Looking forward to listening and laughing at more Ron Burgundy with my normal, average intelligence.
